Choosing a speech therapist in Baku: qualifications and language

Questions to ask about qualifications, therapy language, individual goals and Russian-language appointment availability.

Look beyond advertising

Ask about training and experience with your particular concern. A suitable professional explains assessment, goals and progress clearly. Years in practice alone do not establish the right qualifications or fit.

Confirm the language of sessions

If you need a Russian-speaking speech therapist, confirm availability at your chosen location. A translated website does not establish that each branch offers sessions in that language. Assessment should consider every language the child uses.

Ask about the plan

Discuss session length, family participation, home guidance and how goals will be reviewed. Ask why each suggested method is appropriate. A guaranteed identical outcome for every child is not a sound selection criterion.

Compare practical details

Consider assessment content, scheduling and travel alongside fees. Message the child’s age, languages and main concern to discuss a suitable initial appointment at Səlis Danışıq.
